We love Jamaica, the culture, the people, and of course the food! Here’s a 3 minute tutorial on how to make Ackee and saltfish, Jamaica’s national dish.

For this recipe you’ll need:

  • 3 TBSP of oil
  • 1 Can of ackee
  • 1/2 pound of saltfish (cod fish) (pre-boiled in water for 15 mins)
  • 1 Medium red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 Medium onion chopped
  • 1 Sprig of thyme
  • 2 Stalks of scallion
  • 2 Cloves of garlic minced
