We love Jamaica, the culture, the people, and of course the food! Here’s a 3 minute tutorial on how to make Ackee and saltfish, Jamaica’s national dish.
For this recipe you’ll need:
- 3 TBSP of oil
- 1 Can of ackee
- 1/2 pound of saltfish (cod fish) (pre-boiled in water for 15 mins)
- 1 Medium red bell pepper chopped
- 1 Medium onion chopped
- 1 Sprig of thyme
- 2 Stalks of scallion
- 2 Cloves of garlic minced
